Christmas Closure

We will be closed for Christmas starting Monday, December 23rd through Friday, December 27th. We will also be closed on New Year's Day, Wednesday, January 1st.

Please be advised that if your pet is on a Special Order medication, that may run out while we are closed, you should place a refill order with us no later than Monday, December 9th to allow time for receiving, processing and picking-up of the medication before the Christmas closure. If you are not sure whether your pet's medication is special order, please contact the clinic by phone or email or place your order by December 9th. 

Non special order medications may be placed up until Monday, December 16th to receive your pet's prescription prior to the Christmas closure. Be advised, these dates are dependant on medication availability from our suppliers. 

Taking your DOG to the U.S.

Are you thinking about taking your dog to the U.S.?

As of August 1, 2024, all pet dogs travelling from Canada to the U.S. will need to meet certain criteria to be allowed in. Check out this link Dogs travelling to the U.S. to make sure your pet dog fits all the requirements BEFORE you plan your trip.

You must also fill out and submit a CDC dog import form to bring your pet into the U.S. For now, once filled out and accepted, it is valid for 6 months. Help filling out the form can be found here: Instructions on how to complete the CDC Dog Import Form.

 

Check back regularly as these requirements may change, and if in doubt, it is best to check the CDC website or call 1 (800) 232-4636 and ask them directly. 

There are currently no similar requirements for Cats, as they do not carry the dog-maintained rabies virus variant (DMRVV) that these measures were created to prevent the spread of.

New Location Opening Dates

We are officially OPEN as of November 23rd, 2023! 

The new clinic is located within Ardrossan's first commercial development complex, just North of the Ardrossan Recreational Centre off of Range Road 222. We are the centre unit within the building.
